David Yarborough, a junior in the Systems Engineering Department, has been awarded a scholarship for the 2007-08 academic year by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). The scholarship, titled the Willis H. Carrier Scholarship, has been established by the Carrier Corporation in memory of its founder Willis H. Carrier. The scholarship in the amount of $10,000 will cover the cost of education during the senior year.
