Associate Professor Dr. Xian Liu received the 2005 College Award for Faculty Excellence in Research. His research has the potential to enhance the networks that deliver multimedia applications to users around the world. Dr. Liu’s work envisions faster streaming of music on the Internet, clearer video conferencing capabilities online, and better quality Internet radio.
“The list of applications for consumers is almost endless,” said Wayne Crolley, Area Manager for Global Business Development at AT&T Global Business Solutions Engineering.
