Little Rock, Arkansas is the capital city of the state and also the largest. The population of the central Arkansas area (there are several smaller cities surrounding us) is approximately 500,000 with a median age of 35. The population of the entire state is approximately 2.7 million.
Little Rock is in the center of the state and is only a day-trip away from cities such as Memphis, Tennessee (2.5 h) or Dallas, Texas (5 h). Little Rock National Airport is only 10 minutes by car from the University, and provides air travel to many major domestic and international hubs.
