The George W. Donaghey College of Engineering and Information Technology (EIT) is celebrating its 10th anniversary this fall. The highlight was a fund-raising gala Nov. 19 at the Jack Stephens Center where we were honored to welcome former President Bill Clinton as our keynote speaker. You can see more information about that wonderful event elsewhere on the EIT home page. With the close of the fall 2009 this semester we look forward to a great 2010. We expect to move into our new six-story, 115,000-square-foot building in May 2010, another huge step forward for our students, faculty, staff and the rest of our great university. EIT has adopted "Building Bright Futures" as our theme, and never have we been better prepared to deliver on that promise.

EIT's 10th Anniversary Gala

"I think 50 years from now, when you look back, you may think that the establishment of the College of Engineering and Information Technology -- and the luring of this astonishing woman into this job -- may wind up being the most significant thing this institution has done since its creation." -- Bill Clinton
